whoa indeed. Where have I been lately? Not too sure. But anyways, haven't written in the whole month of February. Sad. Right now, I'm studying for orgo lab midterm this upcoming Tuesday. It looks fabulous outside to play ALLL day. Too bad I have to study. But I don't think I'm getting anything done because it's too nice outside. -.-
It's March and St.patty's day is acomin! Don't kiss me! I ain't Irish! But spring break is coming up! Anyway, got plans peeps? Cuz I plan to sleep all week. weeee.

Starved Rock

So one random weekend, Dr. Nyberg (the person I worked with for a research project), and two other students went on a small field trip to Starved Rock. This place is great! The great scenery, the fresh air, but the one bad thing was.. ice. It was pretty slippery everywhere. And I was just wearing gym shoes. No cleats or anything. But I felt like I was skiing though. haha. And plus, we got hiking sticks with pointed tips at the end. It was awesome. :]

The new sketchbook

Sooo, I haven't really drew anything for awhile now. But YESTERDAY, I got to draw something to my new sketchbook that I bought last year. xP

Thus, my dream of becoming a tattoo artist has not passed away yet. My friend/roomie gave me a tribal tattoo kit for Christmas. I was pretty happy and gay. (Gay = happy/gleeful NOT homosexual..). This is a pencil and ink sketch:

Anyways, the second semester has started and I hate it. Way too much homework this semester. Sigh, I wish school was over in my life. Well, I do have one more year to go as an undergraduate. Then time to move west to Cali and live life as a bum on a beach. AND achieve my goal of becoming a tattoo artist. If not that, then I go to bartending school. So much things I want to try.. Culinary Arts, Studio Artist, Music Artist, Bartending, Tattoo Artist, Surfing, Interpreter for Sign Language, Sky Diving Instructor, Veterinarian and so much more..

So anyways, I'll be taking a bunch of science classes for this up-coming semester. And one spanish 102 class (I feel like I can relate with the cast in the show "Community") Nnnoooooo.. But it's okay, because my new years resolution is to ace all my classes. (I think I've had the same resolution in my whole entire life.) Anyways, Happy New Years Eve ya'll! :]

so much for winter break..

So I guess this is the most laziest winter break of all. What have I done so far? Umm... reactivate facebook, workout, eat, sleep, tv, attempt to study, attempt to put art work on Gawker (never happened), and made a snowmen. I haven't been able to draw much because I left my supplies at school. stupid stupid stupid. But anyways, yesterday I was flipping through channels and stopped on the preview for "In the Heights." It was really, really, really cool. Seeing people from ordinary life to broadway life. Now it got me thinking about my life. Going into broadway would be really awesome. But I doubt that would happen. Anyways, supposedly they're in Chicago til' January 3rd. noooo.. I won't be in the city til' January 11th. But whatever. It's snowing right now. Very pretty.

Actually, I'm getting alot of benefit working with Nyberg. Got a free lunch and an awesome photo as a gift. I can also get to ask him for a letter of recommendation. MUAHAHA! And plus, he's teaching genetics in the summer too. Soo, he'll be ending up my teacher. Great. Here's a picture of the photo that he gave me:

Ain't it preeeetttyy? But yea, haven't updated my blog for awhile. Thus, time for an update. So right now it is finals week. And it ain't so bad so far. Just got one exam. Coolness. Also, over Thanksgiving break, I got to see our new dog. My mom actually had him for awhile. And gave our old dog away without us saying goodbye. That was horrible. I miss my old dog. I kinda dislike the dog we have now. It's boring, not fuzzy enough, and too small. (lol) Take a look:

P.S. More updates: Had a job interview on Monday. Winter break starts soon. Very soon. Hopefully I will get to work on some artwork for once. Oh, and failing physics. :D
