So I'm ordering my textbooks early so I could get a sneak peek of what my classes will be about. The first thing I received in the mail was Microbiology. *Applause* So I got to look at this thing and I noticed I get easily influenced by every book I read or movie I watch. For example, when I was a youngin, I got to watch the movie "Matilda". After the movie I was so intrigued by that girl so I started reading like mad so I could get psychic skills like her. But then after awhile or so I got bored with it. Or like me and the horror movies thinking that long haired girl from the "Ring" would appear in the bathroom. Well this time, it's me and microbiology. This book is about encounters in microbio. And it's basically physicians trying to figure out what caused some symptoms in a certain patient, just like the show "House M.D." So now, this book got onto me of becoming a physician, which I know is just NOT going to happen. But anyways, this book talks about lots of crap getting into your body. Bugs, ameobas, and viruses oh my! One disease that stuck out of this book was the Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. This disease is transmitted through ticks with a bacteria called Ehrlichia chaffeensis. Symptoms include: "fever, pancytopenia (this is when your white, red, and platelets cells are low), elevated liver enzymes, photophobia." PHOTOPHOBIA??? cool.. this is when the victim is sensitive to light. Kinda like vampires. I don't know where I'm going with this but I guess it's just an update on my summer and such. Anywhoo.. I wanna become a PHYSICIAN!! YAYY!
Note: watch this inspiration is soon going to die out. -.-
